Job summary

General Motors seeks a Lead Thermal Systems Engineer to drive development and integration of underhood and in-cabin thermal components for multiple vehicle programs. You will lead a team of DREs, manage on-time delivery, conduct system-level design reviews, and coordinate with Systems, Performance, Calibration, Design, and Manufacturing teams in a hybrid work model.

You will own subsystem-level thermal performance, track milestones in GM tools, and mentor suppliers while balancing performance,

Qualifications

• Lead DREs to deliver thermal subsystems on time.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams across vehicle programs.
• Travel up to 25% and support hybrid work model.

Responsibilities

• Lead System PDT for assigned programs and ensure key deliverables.
• Drive integration of thermal content across underhood and in-cabin interfaces.
• Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturing, quality, and software teams.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with CTS, SSTS, STS, and Design Best Practices.
