A leading aerospace manufacturer in Maryland is seeking a Thermal Blanket Fabrication Supervisor to oversee daily operations and production activities for satellite platforms. This role ensures that thermal blanket products are manufactured to precise standards while maintaining safety compliance. The ideal candidate will have significant supervisory experience and a background in fabrication or aerospace manufacturing, with a focus on team leadership and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years total experience, including supervisory experience.
• 3+ years in fabrication, assembly, or production supervision, preferably involving textiles, films, or insulation systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Thermal Blanket Fabrication Technicians in cutting, sewing, assembly, and installation.
• Coordinate workflow, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet production schedules.
• Conduct in-process inspections and support quality checks.
• Train and mentor technicians on fabrication techniques.
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain.
