Position Summary:

The Lead Therapist is responsible for site therapy staff scheduling, tracking and meeting department productivity, documentation requirements, regulatory/compliance requirements, and validating therapist staff competency. The Lead Therapist functions as a mentor for clinical skills, assists the Market CTO in therapy department/administrative responsibilities, and other related duties as assigned or requested. The Lead Therapist also fills the role of Staff Therapist, responsible for completing evaluations, developing written treatment plans, and providing ongoing treatments aimed at improving the patient’s functional status in conjunction with overall treatment objectives. The Team Lead will provide direct patient care 50% of the time, which can fluctuate based on department needs.

Pay:

Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Language Therapist
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross (online certification is not acceptable)
• Minimum of 2-4 years of clinical/patient care experience

Desired Experience:

• Inpatient rehabilitation experience required
