Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or equivalent required.
• Current clinical or social work license as required by state regulations.
• CPR and De-escalation certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients for safety and report concerns or potential substance use.
• Conduct drug screenings in collaboration with outpatient nursing staff.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions for behavioral health or substance use.
• Lead treatment planning and revise goals based on progress.
• Oversee discharges and develop after-care plans with follow-up.
• Communicate with patients, families, and referrals in line with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.
• Collaborate with physicians, UR, and nursing staff on patient care and length of stay.

Education

Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling
