Job summary

Sandypineshospital in Tequesta, Florida is seeking a Lead Recreation Therapist to provide therapeutic recreation services to residents. You will instruct and facilitate activities designed to meet specific physical and psychological needs, develop treatment plans, and maintain programming schedules.

The ideal candidate should have a CTRS certification or a degree in Recreation Therapy, express arts therapy experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) preferred, or a Degree in Recreation Therapy.
• Expressive Arts Therapy experience preferred.
• Prior experience working with children and adolescents preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instructs patients in activities designed to meet their specific needs.
