Job summary

Alterra Mountain Company seeks a Ski & Ride School Supervisor at Crystal Mountain, WA. You will supervise daily operations, coordinate class schedules, and mentor instructors to deliver exceptional youth snow experiences.

This seasonal, full-time role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and customer service in a busy winter environment. The position requires supervisory experience, strong communication, and a passion for youth engagement on snow.

Qualifications

Supervisory experience in a snowsports school or similar setting.
Experience working with children in a youth-focused program.
PSIA/AASI Level 2 certification is preferred, with children-specific training experience.
Ability to create and implement engaging youth experiences on snow.
Strong delegation and team-scheduling abilities.
Five+ years of experience in snowsports operations.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
Experience with Flaik or similar snowsports management tools is a plus.
Excellent customer service and communication at all levels; strong leadership.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the Ski & Ride School area.
Coordinate class schedules and assign instructors based on ability and capacity.
Record class and timekeeping data accurately for payroll.
Mentor instructors on school policies and best practices.
Support guest recovery and handle issues promptly.
