Job summary

Butler America Aerospace L.L.C. is seeking a Test Engineering Manager in Culpeper, VA to lead and direct test engineering and operations across multiple test facilities.

Responsibilities include planning, executing, and reviewing complex test programs, mentoring ICE and Mechanical Test Engineers, and delivering safe, cost-effective results while coordinating with program managers and customers.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline and nine years of progressively responsible experience in a related field.
• Must have demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to plan, organize, coordinate, direct and control the activities of the assigned organization.
• Experience in Electrical, Instrumentation, and Control Test Engineers or Mechanical Test Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and technically direct test engineering and operations activities and staff.
• Provide engineering analysis and oversight of test requirements and performance in a safe, environmentally sound, secure, cost effective and timely manner.
• Lead proposal, test procedure, test plan preparation, test conduct and data review to attain test objectives.
• Mentor and supervise ICE or Mechanical Test Engineers as needed.
