Job summary

Eaton’s Electrical Sector is seeking a Test Engineering Manager to lead the site’s Test Engineering function at our Santa Ana, CA facility. The role covers automation, instrumentation, data acquisition, and equipment modernization to support production testing and new product introduction.

You will mentor Test Engineers and technicians, develop a technology roadmap, and align resources with safety, quality, and delivery goals while coordinating across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in electrical engineering, production testing, or test automation.
• 2+ years leading technical projects or engineering programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Team and Functional Strategy for Test Engineering.
• Develop and execute strategy for automation, instrumentation, and test systems.
• Own staffing, workload, and capital planning for production test needs.
• Partner with Product Engineering to define test strategies for new products.
• Drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
