Job summary

Ursa Navigation is seeking a Lead Test Engineer with 3+ years of experience to design and develop test software and hardware for our precision timing control hardware in PNT systems. You will oversee NPI testing from design verification to manufacturing test.

Based in Billerica, MA with a hybrid schedule option; collaborate with design engineers, field service, and manufacturing, leading small teams and building test infrastructure and data analysis tools for RF equipment.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering with 3–5 years of test engineering experience.
• Ability to lead small teams of test operators and develop test infrastructure (software and hardware).
• Develop and maintain testing infrastructure/capability and test plans for RF equipment used in UrsaNav’s PNT products
• Create design verification plans for electrical and environmental testing (temperature, vibration, shock)

Responsibilities

• Lead small teams of test operators and build testing infrastructure.
• Test PCB and final product including ICT and flying probe for high-volume PCBs.
• Conduct design verification testing and environmental testing for harsh field conditions.
• Collaborate with design engineers and field service to resolve issues during product bring-up; interface with contract manufacturers and PCB assembly houses.
