Job summary

Google Phoenix is seeking a Test Engineering Manager to lead a team of testers and drive the automation strategy across Google’s Pixel and related products. You will own test plans, develop robust testing methodologies, and collaborate with software and hardware engineers to identify and fix quality issues early.

You’ll mentor staff, set project objectives, and align testing activities with product roadmaps, while advancing testing tools and processes to improve efficiency and product

Qualifications

• Four year college education or comparable functional experience.
• 3 years of involvement with coding, creating test techniques, composing test plans, making experiments, and investigating.
• Expert's or PhD degree in Software engineering, Electrical Designing, or a connected field.
• 3 years of involvement working in a complex, matrixed association.
• 3 years of involvement giving specialized authority and driving tasks (e.g., test, discharge, and so on.).
• 3 years of involvement working with chief pioneers.
• 3 years of involvement in leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive the system for robotization devices or contents to further develop item and designing wellbeing.
• Convey test plans in view of Item Greatness/test methodologies.
• Own test plan surveys with engineers and different partners across capabilities.
• Guide the test structure, test preconditions, and other test control and detailing capabilities to empower others to test usefulness.
• Own chances and oversee endeavors to further develop existing test foundation or make new test framework to build effectiveness and efficiency in experiment improvement, planning, or sending.
• Lead item configuration surveys with item directors, programming/equipment engineers, and different partners to add to item plan, testability, and execution.
