Job summary

Vail Resorts Bartlett, NH is seeking a Lead Terrain Park Crew to supervise and mentor terrain park attendants and operators. You will oversee training, scheduling, and daily risk assessments for features, signage, and layout.

The winter seasonal role requires 5+ years in terrain parks, 2+ years supervisory experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work outdoors in alpine conditions, lift up to 50 pounds, and uphold safety and guest-service standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Train, coach, supervise and lead Terrain Park Attendants and Operators
  • Organize and conduct weekly safety meetings and document equipment trainings
  • Lead all Terrain Park Attendants and Groomers through daily operations and design plans
  • Perform daily risk assessment and feature inspections
  • Direct teams to complete projects and maintenance efficiently
  • Assist in design and construction planning for parks, pipes, and events
  • Assist Ski Patrol on accident investigations
  • Hire, fire and schedule terrain park staff
  • Act as liaison between staff and management
  • Develop nightly grooming plans for Terrain Parks
  • Support operations in manager’s absence
  • Demonstrate employee development and guest-service focus
  • Assist in trainings and SOP development
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Summary: The Team Lead Terrain Park Crew will deliver the Terrain Park experience for our employees and guests. This individual is responsible for the team’s supervision, training, scheduling, and motivation. The team lead will perform a daily risk management assessment of the venue, including the design/construction and layout of features and the placement and integrity of all animation and signage.

Employment Details:

  • Starting Wage: $23.00/hr – $30.61/hr
  • Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027
  • Shift Type: Full Time hours available
  • Minimum Age: 18 years of age

Job Responsibilities:

  • Training, coaching, supervising and leading of Terrain Park Attendants and Operators
  • Organize and conduct weekly safety meetings and document case‑specific equipment and PPE trainings
  • Lead all Terrain Park Attendants and Groomers through daily operations and nightly design and construction plans
  • Perform daily risk assessment, feature inspections, maintenance and testing of all features
  • Direct leads, attendants and operators to complete projects and general maintenance efficiently
  • Assist Terrain Park Manager and Grooming team with design and construction planning for all parks, pipes, and special events
  • Assist Ski Patrol on accident investigations
  • Hire, fire and schedule terrain park attendants
  • Act as liaison between attendants and upper management and other departments
  • Assist in developing nightly grooming plans for Terrain Parks
  • Responsible for park operations and decision making when manager is unavailable
  • Act as role model regarding employee development and guest‑service initiatives
  • Assist in all trainings for Terrain Park Attendants, including implementation of necessary tools and equipment
  • Develop standard operating procedures and best practices
  • Other duties as assigned
