Job description

Join to apply for the Lead Teller (Warsaw Branch) role at Atlantic Union Bank.

This position is responsible for coaching, scheduling, and supervising all Tellers within a branch, providing a best-in-class customer experience while processing transactions, servicing existing and potential customers, and contributing to branch sales goals.

Position Accountabilities:

  • Provide excellent customer experience
  • Perform basic customer and cash transactions
  • Balance cash each day
  • Identify referral opportunities to contribute to branch goals
  • Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations, including compliance with Atlantic Union Bankshares’ BSA/AML Policy and Procedures
  • Identify risk and escalate concerns through proper channels
  • Manage branch cash expectations including ATM servicing
  • Coach and train Tellers to meet goals
  • Assist Branch Manager with performance development of Tellers
  • Analyze operating reports and coach less experienced teammates
  • Develop knowledge of bank products and services
  • Other duties as assigned

Organizational Relationship: This position reports to the branch leader.

Position Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred
  • Previous cash handling and teller experience required
  • Customer service experience required
  • Coaching experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Sound business judgment
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail
  • Flexible and adaptable to change
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift objects up to 30 pounds
