Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services seeks an experienced Superintendent to lead large-scale long-haul ILA installation projects across North America. You will oversee day-to-day field operations, develop project plans, monitor performance, and mentor colleagues.

This site-based role requires travel to Ledcor offices and project sites across multiple states on a rotating schedule. You’ll rely on strong leadership, clear communication, and solid scheduling to ensure safety, quality, and budget goals.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience as a Telecommunications Construction Superintendent or a similar role.
• Knowledge of underground fiber installation, civil or wireless construction a plus.
• Post-secondary education in Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Ensure projects meet approved plans, specifications, and building codes.
• Lead development of Project Quality Plans and Safety Programs; oversee investigations.
• Review and update construction schedules; address delays.
• Estimate activity durations and materials for complex projects.
• Monitor financial aspects of the project and maintain reporting.
• Participate in subcontractor and supplier selection, procurement, negotiations.
• Set priorities and allocate resources for the entire field team.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project staff.
