Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Lead, Technology Product Management - AI, Data & Insights to blend technical ownership with hands-on engineering for scalable pharma AI/data solutions. You will partner with IT, vendors, data partners, and business units to deliver measurable value and drive adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or equivalent in CS/IT/IS/Statistics/Data Science; Master’s preferred.
• 3+ years in data & insights technology product development.
• Production experience deploying LLMs, AI agents, GenAI apps.
• Expertise in Python, ML frameworks, and cloud-native AI.
• Strong communication, judgment, and business/technical translation.
• Experience leading data product teams and DS/DE design.
• Familiarity with Tableau/Power BI and JIRA.

Job description

Purpose / Role Overview

Lead, Technology Product Management - AI, Data & Insights: blend technical product ownership with hands-on engineering to deliver scalable commercial AI/data solutions that transform pharma operations. Partner with IT peers, vendors, data partners, business product owners, technology services, and finance; accountable for technical delivery and value realization.

You Will Be Responsible For

Product Management:

• Define and communicate AI/GenAI-enabled analytics product vision; prioritize GenAI features.
• Define/communicate product strategy, manage backlog, and align to business strategy.
• Define business value/ROI and manage total cost of ownership (TCO).
• Drive and measure adoption, retention, and customer satisfaction.
• Coach business/technical product owners on product management methodologies.

Solutioning & Delivery:

• Serve as Technical Product Owner; build AI/GenAI solutions.
• Architect/implement GenAI using AWS/Azure (e.g., Bedrock, SageMaker, OpenAI, Azure ML).
• Build/deploy LLMs, RAG, and agentic workflows with data scientists/engineers.
• Develop reusable AI components/pipelines; define standards (design, release, testing/validation, compliance).
• Lead analytics roadmap and project plans; manage support via Service Level Management.
• Use Agile to translate business needs into user stories, backlog, and sprint plans.
• Lead data discovery/source analysis and ensure UAT completion.
• Deliver solutions for Sales & Marketing, Market Access, and Medical; drive adoption.

People & Leadership:

• Lead cross-functional, inclusive, high-performing teams; network/orchestrate across organizations; apply strong problem-solving.

Qualifications / Requirements

Required:

• Bachelor's (or equivalent) in CS/IT/IS/Statistics/Data Science; Master's preferred.
• 3+ years data & insights technology product development.
• Production experience deploying LLMs, AI agents, GenAI apps.
• Deep expertise in Python, ML frameworks (e.g., LangChain), and cloud-native AI.
• Prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and evaluation metrics.
• GenAI integration into business workflows (measurable impact).
• 2+ years leading mid-large data & insights product teams.
• 2+ years data engineering/data science solution design in fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication, judgment, problem-solving, and business/technical translation.
• Expertise in data management/modeling, data lake platforms, Tableau/Power BI.

Preferred:

• Pharma/life sciences experience; knowledge of commercial pharma processes and datasets.
• Agile/SDLC risk management; information security; JIRA.
• AWS/Azure hands-on; CI/CD and DevOps experience for DS/DE.

• Primary location Titusville, NJ; up to 10% travel to NJ/PA offices.
