Job summary

The Freeman Company in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Lead - Quality Control to oversee an Event Tech warehouse team responsible for maintaining equipment for flawless event execution. You will ensure operational excellence, lead people, and maintain technical standards, working in-person in our warehouse environment.

The role supports the Audio Visual Production team with a focus on safety, training, and process improvements to deliver reliable rental gear for events.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and relevant work experience.
• Minimum 2 years in event production and/or warehouse operations.
• Strong leadership and safety-minded approach.

Responsibilities

• Daily oversight of quality control and technical service staff.
• Oversee physical checks of rental equipment for cosmetic and functional excellence.
• Prioritize staging of outbound equipment and intake of equipment.
• Qualify and process inbound damaged equipment.
• Oversee stock of repair parts and accessories to return gear to rentable state.
• Collaborate on QC tooling, practices and execution improvements.
• Assist in training and development of warehouse staff.
• Ensure proper safety and risk policies across areas.
• Perform regular quality audits to ensure operational excellence.
• Provide recommendations on capital expenditure and planning.
• Promote teamwork and communication across warehouse operations.
• Assist other departments as needed.

Summary

The Lead - Quality Control has daily oversight of an Event Tech warehouse team responsible for the maintenance of required equipment for the purpose of flawless execution of events. This role will be responsible for the operational excellence of a small warehouse team working to provide technical excellence of rental equipment. This position requires strong people leadership, communication, and technical skills.

This position will support our Audio Visual Production team. The position follows an in-person schedule working full-time in-office and/or warehouse based in Las Vegas, NV.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Daily oversight of quality control and technical service staff
• Daily oversight and participation of physical checks of rental equipment to ensure cosmetic and functional excellence
• Daily oversight and participation of the intake of equipment and prioritize the staging of outbound equipment
• Daily oversight and participation of the qualification and processing of inbound damaged equipment
• Oversee a small stock of repair parts, accessories and ancillaries required to return equipment to a rentable state
• Collaborate and accelerate innovations in QC tooling, practices and execution
• Assist in training/development of warehouse staff
• Ensure sound safety and risk policies and procedures through assigned areas
• Perform regular quality audits to ensure operational excellence
• Provide recommendations on Capital Expenditure and planning
• Promote teamwork and communication between all warehouse operations
• Assists other departments as needed

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant work experience required
• Minimum 2 years of related experience within event production and/or warehouse operations
