What you’ll do

  1. Ensure the production schedule is met by monitoring line performance, identifying and resolving issues, and allocating resources accordingly.
  2. Complete all training and certification requirements to safely and effectively operate all production equipment and machinery in the assigned area.
  3. Cross-train on equipment and tasks across multiple areas and rotate as needed.
  4. Perform machine start-up and shut-down procedures, ensuring machines are set up to validated Machine Parameter Settings (MPS).
  5. Monitor operating equipment and machinery to ensure proper performance.
  6. Adjust equipment parameters within validated standards to meet output specifications.
  7. Escalate issues to proper site resources if output specifications are not met.
  8. Coordinate and provide training for others on operating production equipment and machinery.
  9. Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting, such as cleaning, inspection, minor lubrication, and parts replacements.
  10. Escalate non-routine and complex issues following downtime escalation procedures.
  11. Support mechanics in diagnostics and repairs.
  12. Provide directions for cleaning and sanitizing tasks.
  13. Ensure size and product changeovers are completed according to the production schedule.
  14. Use Gantt charts and other tools to plan activities, assign timelines, and meet deadlines.
  15. Log data into the production tracking system, including machine parameters, downtime, and line performance.
  16. Audit line reports, quality documents, and records to validate data integrity.
  17. Ensure compliance with quality standards and requirements.
  18. Complete quality checks promptly and inspect output for compliance, using calibrated tools and equipment as needed.
  19. Maintain all required quality documentation accurately.
  20. Identify and escalate issues with non-conforming finished goods or packaging components.
  21. Mentor operators and staff on troubleshooting tasks.
  22. Follow escalation procedures for non-routine and complex issues.
