Job description

HOODZ Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning in the South Sound area is looking for an EXPERIENCED Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Technician. However, we will train the right candidate regardless of experience level.

The crew leader position does NOT require experience (but it is preferred). We are seeking individuals who can lead a team and start working effectively from day one.

The crew leader responsibilities include following protocols to complete each job, managing an assistant technician, and handling all phases of the cleaning cycle from rooftop exhaust fans to kitchen hoods. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, communicates well with customers, and can direct team members. Previous mechanical, electrical, or kitchen hood cleaning experience is a plus.

Each team typically cleans 2-3 restaurants per night, mainly Monday-Thursday (approx 8 pm - 8 am), with some Sundays. This results in a four-day workweek.

This job is unique because:

• Teams are 2-person, self-directed
• Work is at night
• The pace is fast, with no clock-watching
• Four-day workweeks, with some additional days as needed

Starting pay depends on experience (DOE), plus a signing bonus.
