Job summary

Pavion is seeking a talented Lead Technician to join our integration team in Virginia Beach. The role focuses on installing headend equipment, Nurse Call, RTLS, Fire Alarm and Security systems, ensuring proper layout, cabling, testing, labeling and documentation.

You will coordinate with contractors, supervise installers, and ensure compliance with safety and building codes. Qualified candidates have a High School diploma or GED, 5+ years in the fire alarm industry, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• 5+ years’ experience within the fire alarm industry.
• Driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install headend equipment, field devices and basic programming for Nurse Call, RTLS, Fire Alarm and Security.
• Coordinate and oversee contracted work and ensure compliance with CTSI standards.
• Analyze blueprints and drawings for efficient installation of systems.
• Provide technical expertise for installation, repair, and service.
• Inform Project Manager on procedures and status of work orders.
• Supervise Installers to complete projects per codes and specifications.
• Maintain vehicles and equipment in good condition.
• Respond to service calls during and after hours as needed.
• Update and maintain documentation.

Education

High School diploma or GED

Two years related experience or training on manufacturer systems installations
