Job summary

Boston Scientific in Arden Hills, MN is seeking a seasoned Technical Writer to lead the development and management of end-user documentation for the Cardiac Diagnostics hardware and software portfolio.

You will translate complex technical information into clear end-user content, collaborate with product managers, engineers and SMEs, and promote structured authoring while ensuring regulatory and quality compliance. Hybrid work with in-office presence three days per week.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in technical communication, English, computer science, journalism or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years' professional technical writing experience in specialized software, medical or regulated environments.
Experience supporting regulated medical device software and/or hardware development.
Experience creating documentation for complex software systems, embedded software, firmware and hardware products.

Responsibilities

Content strategy: define the architecture and structure of end-user documentation for the Cardiac Diagnostics product portfolio.
Complex writing: translate complex technical, software and product information into clear end-user content.
Cross-functional leadership: collaborate with product managers, engineers, designers and SMEs through the product lifecycle.
Tools and process management: promote structured authoring, content reuse, metadata management and version control.
Regulatory and quality rigor: ensure processes and deliverables meet regulatory and quality guidelines.
