Your responsibilities
Job Summary
Conducts and presents Operations training programs. Trains employees at workstations and in the classroom. Monitors and reports the effectiveness of training on employees during the orientation period. Aids in developing basic training materials and job aids. Collects information to improve training programs. Develops feedback mechanisms for course content. Provides input into the development of a training plan. May have logistical responsibilities regarding the training. Assists in other tasks or projects as assigned.

  • Assess operational training requirements
  • Partner with supervisors to accommodate training requirements
  • Provide follow up to training conducted to measure effectiveness

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of Aerospace plant experience, with strong knowledge of all operational positions
  • Strong communication skills; the ability to change communication style to relate information in a variety of ways based on the learner
  • Ability to read and write business-related correspondence proficiently
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently

Preferred Requirements:

  • Some college coursework, with completion of an associate or bachelor degree strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and teaching techniques
