Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking Principal/Sr Principal Technical Services Project Management (Operations) to lead product family value streams at the Promontory, Utah site. This role revolves around planning, manufacturing, testing, and delivering critical systems with cross-functional collaboration.

The position requires strong program management, engineering background, and the ability to obtain Secret clearance. On-site work in Promontory is expected, with travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Engineering or related field; 5 years of related experience OR Master’s with 3 years.
• Exceptional written and oral communications skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage at all levels of the organization.
• MS Project, Excel, Power Point and Word proficiency.
• Experience with a manufacturing execution system (ESI, CostPoint, Sync).
• Ability to work under limited supervision and meet time and budget targets.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communications with management.

Responsibilities

• Lead all activities associated with a product family within the value stream.
• Own and deliver product family through requirements, design, planning, manufacture, inspection, testing and delivery.
• Staff the team effectively across functional areas; ensure concurrent engineering and resource management.
• Drive total team performance and align with program office and plant functions.
• Focus on designing, manufacturing and testing defect-free, high-value products; capture lessons learned.
