Job summary

Veho is seeking a Lead Technical Recruiter to build our engineering, product, and data science talent pipeline. This full-cycle role partners with hiring managers across the company and becomes a strategic partner for technical hiring judgment.

You'll focus on building the technical bench that powers Veho's engineering, product, and data organizations as we grow. You will own the candidate experience end to end, run technical screens, coordinate case studies, and maintain clean ATS data while

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting across engineering, product, and/or data science.
• Experience recruiting in a tech startup or modern technical recruiting function.
• Experience giving hiring managers direct, actionable feedback.
• History of using data to inform recruiting decisions.
• Commitment to process hygiene and high-quality candidate pipelines.
• Ownership of recruiting pipelines and proactive sourcing.
• Experience independently screening for technical depth.
• Experience integrating AI tools into recruiting processes.

About the Role

Veho is looking for a Lead Technical Recruiter to build our hiring pipeline across our engineering, product, and data science teams. This is a full-cycle recruiting role, owning the pipeline from sourcing through offer. You'll partner directly with hiring managers across the company and become a strategic partner for technical hiring judgment. You'll be focused on building the technical bench that powers Veho's engineering, product, and data organizations as we grow.

What You'll Do

Full-Cycle Technical Recruiting

• Source, screen, and manage candidate pipelines for engineering, product, and data science roles

• Own the candidate experience end to end, from first outreach through offer

Technical Screening and Assessment

• Run technical and recruiter screens that filter for depth, process diligence, and communication before candidates advance to hiring manager rounds

• Build a bench of strong recruiting talent for future needs, even when someone isn't an immediate fit

Case Study Program

• Help maintain and refine domain-specific case studies for engineering, product, and data science in partnership with hiring managers

• Coordinate logistics for case study delivery and panel debriefs

Systems and Pipeline Hygiene

• Keep candidate tracking and documentation clean and current in our applicant tracking system

• Track a separate pipeline of backup recruiting talent for future needs

Cross-Functional Partnership

• Work closely with hiring managers and interview panels across engineering, product, and data science to keep the process moving quickly

What You'll Bring

Must Have

• 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience across engineering, product, and/or data science.

• Experience recruiting at a tech startup, or at a large company with a genuinely modern, well-built technical recruiting function.

• Experience giving hiring managers direct, confident feedback on candidate readiness.

• History of leading with data to be a strategic partner to your hiring managers.

• Passion for process hygiene and finding great candidates to raise the bar.

• Ownership of your pipelines. You'd rather build a pipeline from scratch than wait on inbound applicants.

• A track record of independently screening for technical depth.

• Experience integrating and building with AI Tools into the recruiting process.

Nice to Have

• Some exposure to mentoring or team lead responsibilities. This role has real potential to grow into a player-coach position leading a small team as we scale, for the right person
