The Role

At Lumen, we're building a world-class team, and we’re looking for a Lead Technical Recruiter (Reporting to the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager) with a strong focus on Security, Technology, Engineering, Product, and Network to drive our talent acquisition efforts. In this role, you’ll be responsible for identifying and attracting exceptional talent across a variety of functions by leveraging deep research and strategic sourcing techniques. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our future by building a pipeline of highly qualified candidates, ensuring our hiring process is driven by data, insights, and innovative strategies.

Work Location

This is a fully remote position open to candidates based anywhere in the U.S.

This is a Temporary Full-Time position.

The Main Responsibilities

  • Design and execute comprehensive technical recruiting strategies aligned with company growth objectives.

  • Develop and optimize recruiting processes, including candidate experience, interview methodologies, and assessment techniques.

  • Collaborate closely with other TA recruiters and leadership to understand evolving talent needs and skill requirements proactively.

  • Implement data-driven recruiting metrics and analytics to continuously improve hiring effectiveness.

  • Conduct detailed market research and talent mapping to understand industry trends, competitors, and emerging talent pools.

  • Build and manage talent pipelines by proactively sourcing passive candidates and creating a robust talent pipeline.

  • Engage with potential candidates to build relationships, providing outstanding experience from initial outreach through to the final stages of the recruitment process.

  • Work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to align on sourcing goals, candidate profiles, and market insights, ensuring a seamless recruitment process.

What We Look For in a Candidate

  • 6+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition with a Bachelor's Degree.

  • 4+ years with a Master's Degree.

  • Majority of experience working in Technology Full-Life Cycle recruitment or sourcing.

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and market trends, providing actionable insights for strategic sourcing decisions.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities to engage with potential candidates and stakeholders effectively.

  • Proficiency in using advanced sourcing tools and techniques, including social media platforms, databases, and new tool research.

Compensation

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

Location Based Pay Ranges:

$82,969 - $110,625 in these states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY.

$87,117 - $116,156 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, and RI.

$91,266 - $121,688 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
