Job summary

Moofwd seeks a Lead Technical Program Manager in New York City to organize and accelerate cross-functional technology programs across multiple teams. The contract role runs 12–24 months with hybrid flexibility, onsite 3 days/week.

You will align dependent organizations, remove blockers, and create predictable delivery paths for large efforts while reporting progress to stakeholders and mentoring others.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and accelerate related technology projects across multiple teams, aligning dependent organizations and removing blockers to find the path forward in challenging situations
  • Create mechanisms to effectively report out and control execution; recognize complexity and build predictable delivery paths for large and/or complex efforts
  • Measurably improve, streamline, and/or eliminate excess processes; utilize cross-organizational mechanisms to drive continuous improvements
  • Drive execution of outcomes from inception through successful delivery across the full stack of services/domains or outcomes spanning multiple teams and enterprise integrations
  • Serve as the first point of contact and source of truth for project status, providing the right information and data to the right audience at the right time
  • Understand business strategy and design approaches within product, program, or domain with depth to be credible and effective with teams; competently represent team services
  • Stay abreast of the evolving technology landscape and ask the right questions to evaluate design strengths and weaknesses (scalability, latency, security, performance, data integrity, etc.)
  • Work with ambiguity and limited guidance; get projects in motion or transform entropy into calm, predictable delivery patterns
  • Transform raw thoughts into clear, concise communications and instructions for teams; communicate with confidence 3+ levels up
  • Work directly with external technology providers to identify opportunities to be faster, better, and cheaper
  • Understand the needs of engineers and technical operations teams who build, maintain, and operate services and technical assets
  • Regularly review metrics and proactively seek new and improved data/mechanisms for visibility to keep your program aligned with organizational objectives
  • Play an active role in mentoring and recruiting others

Lead Technical Program Manager

Lead the execution of complex, cross-functional technology programs across multiple teams and domains. Drive delivery from inception through successful launch while removing blockers, improving processes, and keeping stakeholders aligned.

We are seeking a Lead Technical Program Manager to organize and accelerate a group of related technology projects across multiple teams. You will align dependent organizations, identify and remove blockers, and create predictable delivery paths for large and complex efforts. This is a 12-24 month contract role based in New York City with hybrid flexibility (3 days/week on-site).

  • Streamline and/or eliminate excess process in architecture, production operations, or business areas where the same efforts or issues repeat year-over-year
  • Expert-level proficiency with Scrum delivery
