Job summary

ALO is seeking a Senior Technical Designer to oversee garment fit and tailoring across base size models and full size runs. The role focuses on correcting fit from Proto 1 to Pre-Production, with extensive fit-room experience essential.

Post-fitting data informs technical garment changes and updates across global vendors. Candidates should have strong sewing/pattern experience and proficiency in PLM, Adobe Suite, and CLO.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a technical design expert.
• A degree in fashion or related field.
• Ability to juggle many styles across seasons.
• Experience with sewing and garment patterns.
• Proficiency with PLM, Adobe Suite and CLO.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; deep fabric education on knit and woven fabrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead fittings and provide fit direction.
• Approve final fit and grading for production.
• Communicate trim performance, sizes, and sourcing.
• Create garment adjustment notes and comments.
• Use PLM for data pulls on specs, history and implementation.
• Collaborate with designers and vendors; manage fit reviews.
