Job summary

SGPS ShowRig is seeking a Lead Technical Designer in North Las Vegas to provide technical leadership in the design and development of custom solutions for customer projects, rental inventory, and new product development. You will oversee detailed construction drawings, mentor designers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver manufacturable designs.

This exempt, full-time role requires strong Autodesk Inventor skills, a solid eye for detail, and the ability to drive continuous

Qualifications

Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor, Excel, and other design tools.
Knowledge of Mathcad or Risa is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to translate requirements into designs.

Responsibilities

Facilitate the design of solutions using rental inventory or new builds with guidance from the manager.
Generate construction drawings using Autodesk Inventor for fabrication.
Develop concept models and provide a design vision for solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate interpretation of design needs.
Review and guide junior designers in creating detailed drawings before fabrication.
Ensure designs meet specifications and industry standards.
Participate in project meetings to share expertise and address challenges.
Coordinate with third-party vendors and external manufacturers.
Support product development initiatives with management.
