Job summary

Enchanted Rock is seeking a Regional Lead Technician to lead a team of mechanical technicians across multiple U.S. locations. The role emphasizes field leadership, customer-focused operations, and ensuring 24/7 readiness.

You will mentor technicians, coordinate regional safety, and drive performance in line with company standards. Based in North Houston, you will report to the Area Manager and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Technical background in generator systems including electrical/controls troubleshooting and breaker diagnostics.
• Experience scheduling to meet operational demands.
• Availability for on-call responsibilities during high-demand periods.
• Proactive problem-solving approach and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work on feet, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure 24/7 on-call coverage and emergency response in your region.
• Serve as primary liaison with clients and manage regional KPIs.
• Manage inventory of storage units and trucks.
• Schedule optimization to meet operational priorities.
• Conduct safety audits and enforce safety standards.
• Coordinate technician training and development.
• Mentor team members and provide first line of escalation.
• Ensure regional audits for technical proficiency, site preservation, and vehicle maintenance.
• Reside in North Houston and commute to the Houston office when requested.
• Maintain acceptable driving record and travel for business.
• Physical ability to work in field environments, including adverse weather, lifting up to 50 pounds.

Position Overview

As a Regional Lead Technician, you’ll play a pivotal role in our mission, combining field leadership with customer-focused responsibilities to deliver operational excellence. You’ll oversee a team of skilled mechanical technicians across multiple U.S. locations, ensuring they’re equipped, motivated, and aligned with company goals. This position is based in the field in the region specified on the job posting and will report directly to the Area Manager for that region.

Key Responsibilities

• Emergency Readiness:?Ensure 24/7 on-call coverage and emergency response capabilities within your region.
• Customer Relations:?Serve as the primary liaison between the company and clients, fostering transparency and ownership of regional KPIs.
• Inventory Management:?Ensure storage unit and truck counts are accurate
• Scheduling Excellence:?Manage and adjust schedules to meet operational priorities.
• Safety First:?Perform safety audits and ensure safety standards are followed.
• Technical Development:?Coordinate training for technicians in safety, maintenance, and operational techniques.
• First Point of Escalation:?Mentor team members to close skill gaps and encourage professional development, provide first line of support.
• Regional Ownership:?Ensure audits are conducted to ensure all aspects of technical proficiency, site preservation, vehicles maintenance, and inventory are all up to the Regional Area Manager’s and Enchanted Rock’s standard.
• Reside in North Houston and commute to the Houston office when requested.

Basic (Required) Qualifications

• Technical Background: Demonstrates strong technical expertise in generator systems, including electrical and controls troubleshooting, breaker operation and diagnostics, and advanced engine troubleshooting and repair.
• Scheduling Expertise: Experience managing schedules to meet operational demands.
• Commitment: Availability for on-call responsibilities during high-demand periods.
• Problem-Solving Skills: A proactive approach to finding and implementing practical solutions.
• Detail Oriented: Ability to ensure the proper resources are applied to the issue.
