Job Description

Lead Teacher - Preschool Responsibilities:

  • Embrace the philosophy of Cadence Education and collaborate with the teaching team to foster a positive learning environment for all children
  • Develop comprehensive lesson plans to build a strong foundation for students
  • Provide social interaction and developmentally appropriate activities to help students thrive now and in the future
  • Model and encourage positive social behaviors and expectations
  • Maintain a clean, homelike environment conducive to learning and development
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures
  • Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and activities
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to implement engaging, developmentally appropriate curricula

Lead Teacher - Preschool Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 18 years old
  • Meet all state licensing and certification requirements for kindergarten teachers
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing needs
  • Ability to commit to a consistent 5-day workweek
  • Professionalism and classroom management skills
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or college degree in Early Childhood or Child Development (preferred)
  • Previous experience as a kindergarten teacher (preferred)
