Job Description

Infant Lead Teacher Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Meet all state preschool lead teacher requirements
  • Previous experience as an Infant teacher
  • Flexible and willing to work within business hours
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) or college degree in Early Childhood, Child Development, or related field
  • Experience as a preschool lead teacher required
  • Classroom management skills preferred

Infant Lead Teacher Job Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of the teaching team to foster a positive learning environment aligned with Cadence Education’s philosophy
  • Document and communicate milestones to parents
  • Collaborate to implement engaging, developmentally appropriate curricula
  • Respect and observe children’s interests, ensuring safety and enhancing play with language, toys, and activities
  • Model and encourage appropriate social behavior
  • Plan daily schedules balancing various activities: quiet/active, indoor/outdoor, fine/gross motor skills
