Job summary

Joyoflearningcenter in Woodstock, GA, is seeking a Lead Teacher to join our Monday–Friday team. You will plan, direct, and participate in age-appropriate activities, guiding children from infancy to school age using our play-based curriculum. You’ll support daily care tasks and foster communication with parents through our Classroom Management system.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• TCC; CDA; Associate's in Education or equivalent; Bachelor's in Education or equivalent.
• Previous experience in early childhood education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and participate in age-appropriate activities designed to promote development.
• Prepare children for kindergarten using the provided curriculum.
• Assist in daily care such as meals, potty training, changing and nap time.
• Maintain communication with parents using our Classroom Management system.
• Lead classroom management and supervise junior team members.
