Qualifications

• The desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
• Minimum of 1 year experience working in a child care center.
• Must have a minimum of at least 24 units in ECE/Child Development including core courses and at least 3 units in infant/toddler care and two (2) adult supervision units.
• Experience with Quality Care is a plus!
• A professional, positive attitude
• Classroom duties include assisting with eating, diapering/toileting, cleaning, keeping a clean and safe room, aligning with Quality Care and Community Care License requirements.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lb. in emergencies; physically ACTIVE role.
• Loving demeanor with children; classroom experience and CPR certification.
• All candidates must pass a national criminal background check.
• Fluency and clear communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Keep logs and ensure compliance with Circle of Friends and Community Care License.

Requirements

The ideal candidate meets the following requirements:

• Classroom duties include but aren't limited to: helping children with eating, diapering/toileting, cleaning, keeping a clean and safe room, keeping a Quality Care compliant classroom, keeping appropriate logs, and making sure everything is in compliance with Circle of Friends as well as with Community Care License.
• Able to stand for long periods, frequently walking, sitting on the floor, and playing with children, being able to lift up to a 40 lb. child in an emergency situation. You must be able to get up off the floor and stand up quickly. This is a physically ACTIVE role.

• Classroom experience, and CPR certification.
• All candidates must pass the national criminal background check.
• Fluency and clear communication in English. Must be able to communicate with other staff and parents clearly in both verbal and written form.
