Epiphany Lutheran Nursery School is seeking a Lead Teacher for the toddler class (ages 12-18 months) and the young 2s class (24-30 months) in their preschool program.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's or associate's degree or a credential in Early Childhood Education and a passion for teaching young children. Prior teaching experience, preferably in a preschool setting, is preferred.
A Lead Teacher at Epiphany Lutheran Nursery School is responsible for establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment. They work collaboratively with the entire faculty. Our lead teachers are responsible for all lesson planning, as we do not use a store-bought curriculum, and we operate as a play-based center. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. during the school year, with potential additional hours from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., although these are not guaranteed.
The candidate should have a bachelor's or associate's degree or a credential in Early Childhood Education and experience teaching, preferably in a preschool setting.
ELNS is a religiously exempt half-day preschool program (8:45 a.m. - noon) with optional extended hours from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. We are not a daycare but a school rooted in Christian values, offering a play-based learning environment. Our goal is to foster students' curiosity and develop a lifelong love of learning.
