The Goddard School located at 18110 Manhatten Parkway Cornelius, NC 28031 is seeking a passionate Lead Teacher to implement age-appropriate lessons using our Wonder of Learning curriculum and oversee daily activities. Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience with young children in a licensed setting.
• State-required pre-service training completed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans using the Wonder of Learning curriculum.
• Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom.
• Maintain open, effective communication with families about child progress.
• Supervise activities to ensure health and safety standards.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
• Observe and document children’s learning to inform activities.
• Collaborate with Assistant and Resource Teachers as a team.
