Qualifications

• High school diploma required; ECE degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience with young children in licensed settings.
• CDA preferred; pre-service training completed.
• Ability to build relationships with children, families and staff.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs during activities.

Responsibilities

• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans using Wonder of Learning curriculum.
• Create a safe, nurturing, inclusive classroom environment.
• Maintain open, positive communication with families about progress.
• Supervise activities to meet health, safety and licensing standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training.
• Observe and document children's learning to share insights with families.
• Support Assistant and Resource Teachers in a collaborative team.
• Model positive guidance to support social-emotional growth.
