Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a Lead Teacher to inspire young learners, coach peers, and deliver our curriculum in a safe, nurturing classroom.

Lead with strong customer service, organize activities, partner with families, and support center goals around enrollment and engagement while meeting state requirements.

Range of pay 17.85–23.25 hourly; benefits include discounted child care, health plans, and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• Active CDA credential or NAECY candidacy (required or considered)
• Approved state trainer (preferred)
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred)
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor teachers in your classroom; model behaviours and provide feedback
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum consistent with each child's needs
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning
• Partner with parents to support child care and education
• Support center success; collaborate with staff to achieve enrollment, accreditation and engagement goals
• Cultivate relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and partners
