Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring a Lead Teacher in Illinois. You will lead and mentor teachers, implement the curriculum, and create a safe, engaging environment for young children.

You will collaborate with parents to support each child's growth and be part of a team driving enrollment and quality in our centers. Qualified applicants may hold a CDA or be pursuing NAEYC candidacy, with 2–3 years ECE experience and a Bachelor's in ECE preferred.

Qualifications

• Customer service and organizational skills required.
• Active CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy.
• State trainer approval preferred.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience; Bachelor's in ECE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor teachers in the classroom.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum consistent with each child's needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning.
• Partner with parents to support children's education.
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Foster relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities and partners.
