Job summary
La Petite Academy in San Antonio, TX is hiring a Lead Teacher to create engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences, mentor fellow Teachers, and ensure classroom activities meet licensing guidelines.
This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, bi-weekly or daily pay options, health benefits, tuition reimbursement, 401K with company match, and a child care discount. You lead the classroom, support growth, and communicate with families.
Qualifications
- Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
- The ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
- The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
- Care for the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in your class.
- Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, and be an expert on licensing guidelines and company standards.
- Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement and center success.
