Job summary

Children of America, Inc. in Waldorf, MD is seeking a Lead Teacher to join our dedicated education team.

You will implement daily lesson plans, foster a safe and positive classroom, and communicate with families and staff regarding child progress and milestones. The role requires a CDA or Associate's Degree in Education, at least 1 year of licensed childcare experience, CPR/First Aid certification, and compliance with state licensing requirements.

About Children of America (COA): Join Children of America - a nationally accredited preschool with 65+ locations across 18 states. Who You’ll Interact With

This role interacts daily with children, parents, management, and teaching staff to support a collaborative and positive learning environment.

Minimum Requirements
  • CDA or Associate's Degree in Education required
  • Minimum 1 Year of experience in a licensed childcare setting
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Must meet all state licensing requirements

Hourly rate: $18.00 - $24.53 per hour. Final compensation will be based on experience, skills, location, and internal equity. This role may also be eligible for performance‑based incentives or other benefits.
