Children of America, LLC in Norwood, MA is seeking a Lead Teacher to join a team of educators dedicated to nurturing young children. You will lead classroom activities, implement COA’s Mind and Body Matters curriculum, and collaborate with families to support each child’s growth and development.

You will create a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment, document progress, and participate in ongoing professional development to ensure high-quality care.

Qualificações

  • Minimum 12 credits in Early Childhood Education with a level 2 Lead Teacher Certification in Preschool or Infant/Toddler or Associates degree in Early Childhood Education
  • Minimum 1 Year of experience in a licensed childcare setting
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Must meet all state licensing requirements
  • Strong organizational and decision-making skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and staff
  • Flexible and adaptable in challenging situations
  • Commitment to professional growth

About Children of America (COA):

Who You'll Interact With

This role interacts daily with children, parents, management, and teaching staff to support a collaborative and positive learning environment.

Minimum Requirements

Hourly rate: $20-22 per hour. Final compensation will be based on experience, skills, location, and internal equity. This role may also be eligible for performance-based incentives or other benefits.
