Job summary

La Petite Academy is hiring a Lead Teacher to drive engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences for preschoolers. You will mentor fellow teachers, lead classroom management and curriculum implementation, and ensure licensing and company standards are met.

You will foster strong relationships with families and contribute to a positive, supportive center environment where children learn, thrive, and feel valued.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Must meet state education and childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
• Care for preschool children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth.
• Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, and ensure compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Communicate with enrolled and prospective families to support the child’s achievement and center success.

As a Lead Teacher, you’ll:

• Create! Develop fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
