The Goddard School located at 50 Burnet Ave, Maplewood, NJ 07040 is seeking a passionate Lead Teacher. Lead daily activities and collaborate with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience with young children in licensed settings.
• Pre-service training as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Curriculum and Instruction: Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
• Classroom Management: Create a safe, nurturing environment.
• Family Communication: Maintain positive communication with families.
• Health and Safety: Supervise and uphold safety standards.
• Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training.
