Job summary

The Children’s Courtyard in Arlington, TX is seeking a Lead Teacher to create engaging learning experiences and mentor fellow teachers. You will lead classroom activities and ensure curriculum alignment with licensing standards, while fostering a positive, interactive environment for children.

This role emphasizes building strong relationships with families, supporting center goals, and promoting growth across social, physical, and cognitive areas of development.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
• Care for preschool children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth in your class.
• Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, plus be an expert on licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Communicate with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement for the child and to support your center’s success.
