The Gardner School of Powell is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide a welcoming classroom with creativity and care. You will mentor assistant teachers and uphold the school’s core values while engaging families and children in meaningful learning experiences.

Requirements include a CDA or higher in Early Childhood Education, CPR/First Aid, and 2+ years of experience. The role offers competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits in a supportive, mission‑driven culture.

Qualifications

• CDA, or Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (required).
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• 2+ years of early childhood education experience (lead or co-lead preferred).
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Intermediate PC skills and proficiency with general administrative tasks.
• Able to lift up to ~60 lbs and participate in active classroom leadership.
