Job summary

KinderCare Education is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide and mentor classroom staff, implementing the KinderCare curriculum while adapting to each child’s needs. You’ll foster a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning and actively engage with families to support development.

Strong communication with parents, teachers, and licensing authorities is essential, along with a commitment to center enrollment and accreditation goals. This full-time role requires energy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively.
• CDA Credential or NAECY candidacy required/in progress.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role.
• Read/write/speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor teachers in the classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare curriculum with attention to each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning.
• Communicate with parents to support child development.
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Build positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and partners.
