Job summary

La Petite Academy in New Hope, MN is seeking a Lead Teacher to create engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences while mentoring fellow teachers. You will promote social, physical, and intellectual growth and lead curriculum implementation in alignment with licensing guidelines and center standards.

You will communicate openly with families to support each child's achievement and ensure the center's success.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create, develop fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
• Care, promote growth of preschool children in your class.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation; ensure licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Communicate with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement and center success.
