NO nights, weekends, or holidays. Lead Teacher responsibilities include planning age-appropriate lessons, maintaining a safe classroom, supporting growth, communicating with parents, and guiding assistants.

Qualifications

• CDA or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field) preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in a preschool or childcare setting.
• Passion for working with infants, toddlers, or preschoolers.
• Strong leadership and classroom management skills.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons that promote learning through play and discovery.
• Create a warm, safe, and structured classroom environment.
• Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and academic growth.
• Maintain open, ongoing communication with parents.
• Oversee Assistant Teachers and support staff to ensure consistency in the classroom.
• Monitor and document developmental progress.
• Ensure compliance with NJ licensing, health, and safety standards.
