As the Lead Teacher, you'll be the heart of our classroom—providing a nurturing space where little ones thrive. Duties

Your Day-to-Day:

  1. Develop and deliver fun, age-appropriate lesson plans
  2. Lead and inspire assistant teachers, volunteers, and substitutes
  3. Keep the classroom lively, clean, and organized
  4. Follow state regulations and ensure children’s safety
  5. Keep families informed and updated with smile-worthy reports and bulletin boards
  6. Foster positive discipline and a supportive, safe atmosphere
  7. Stay on top of training and certifications, including CPR/First Aid

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

  1. Strong knowledge of child development (especially toddlers!)
  2. Vermont Early Childhood Career Ladder Level III or equivalent education/experience
  3. Physically able to join in the fun (yes, floor activities included!)
  4. Great communicator with a commitment to creating a safe and exciting environment
  5. Able to lift up to 50 lbs
  6. Valid driver’s license and a clean background check (safety first!)
