The Fisher Early Learning Center at the University of Denver seeks a Lead Teacher to direct the development and implementation of the classroom environment, supporting cognitive, social-emotional, physical, language, and communication growth for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
You will supervise and mentor the teaching team, model inclusive practices aligned with the center's mission, and lead curriculum planning, individual child planning, and family communication.

The Lead Teacher will direct the development and implementation of the classroom environment in the facilitation of the cognitive, social-emotional, physical, language, and communication development of the children within the program.
This position will provide supervision and mentorship to teaching team members by modeling best practices in an inclusive setting based on the mission and philosophy of the center in coordination with directors. The incumbent will direct the development of a classroom plan for curriculum, individual child planning, and family communication.
Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

The salary grade for the position is 8.
The salary rate for this position is $53,000. The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.
