Job summary

Worcester Community Action Council, Inc. seeks a Lead Teacher for its Early Head Start/Head Start programs serving families in Central and South-Central Massachusetts.

You will plan developmentally appropriate activities and support parent engagement across three centers in East Brookfield, Southbridge and Webster. The position is full-time, Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:00pm, requiring a Lead Teacher license and a Bachelor's degree (or progress toward) in Early Childhood Education, plus strong

Qualifications

• Lead Teacher license required for the position.
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or enrolled toward it.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and WCAC databases.
• Strong interpersonal, professional and diplomatic communication.
• Organized, multi-tasking, and collaborative work style.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
• Ability to work with a diverse population; bilingual skills a plus.
