Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• CDA preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience with young children in licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred.
• Has completed state-required pre-service training.

Responsibilities

• Curriculum and Instruction: implement age-appropriate lesson plans using Wonder of Learning curriculum.
• Classroom Management: maintain a safe, nurturing, inclusive classroom.
• Family Communication: communicate effectively with families and guardians about progress.
• Health and Safety: supervise activities to uphold health and safety standards.
• Professional Development: participate in ongoing development and training.
• Assessment and Documentation: observe and document child progress for sharing with families.
• Team Collaboration: support Assistant and Resource Teachers.
• Behavior Guidance: model positive guidance strategies.
